# AI Brand Monitoring Weekly Checklist

Use this checklist with the free CSV template from Wolf visibility.

## 1. Scope

- [ ] Write down the buyer decision this prompt cohort represents.
- [ ] Confirm the brand, aliases, products, and competitor set.
- [ ] Confirm the engines, countries, and languages in scope.
- [ ] Keep the core prompt wording unchanged for trend comparisons.
- [ ] Label new or experimental prompts separately.

## 2. Run and collect

- [ ] Start from a consistent account/session context.
- [ ] Record engine, experience or mode, market, language, and date.
- [ ] Mark failed checks; do not count them as brand omissions.
- [ ] Save the complete raw answer.
- [ ] Record every named brand in appearance order.
- [ ] Classify your mention: recommended, neutral, negative, citation-only, or absent.
- [ ] Record every available cited domain and exact URL.
- [ ] Note incorrect category, audience, pricing, feature, or availability claims.

## 3. Calculate

- [ ] Mention rate = answers mentioning your brand / successful answers × 100.
- [ ] Share of voice = your mentions / all tracked-brand mentions × 100.
- [ ] Compare relative position only where the answer contains an ordered recommendation.
- [ ] Report citation presence separately from brand mention presence.
- [ ] Split results by engine and market before using an aggregate.

## 4. Diagnose

- [ ] Which prompts repeatedly omit the brand?
- [ ] Which competitors appear instead?
- [ ] Which sources support those competitors?
- [ ] Which descriptions of the brand are inaccurate or outdated?
- [ ] Which owned page should answer the buyer question more clearly?
- [ ] Which credible third-party source could validate the claim?

## 5. Act and document

- [ ] Prioritize factual errors before visibility gains.
- [ ] Choose one measurable content, technical, PR, or distribution experiment.
- [ ] Record the change and publication date.
- [ ] Keep raw evidence for the next comparison.
- [ ] Do not claim that a mention caused traffic or revenue without separate attribution evidence.

## Suggested weekly rhythm

- Monday: run the stable prompt cohort.
- Tuesday: review raw-answer changes and source gaps.
- Wednesday: choose one improvement experiment.
- Thursday: publish, update, or pursue the relevant source.
- Friday: document the change; do not rerun the cohort simply to chase a better screenshot.
